Damn Good Hunt 9/9/12

So i knew i had to go huntin since this cold front was coming and robbie has been waiting to go. So i load up my pony and me and robbie meet up and head to my place that has alot of country! I take my Two red curs Fred and JJ and three young dogs(Reggie,Flop, and Smokey). Robbie takes his two young dogs. We get out there its 59degrees. Great huntin weather. We startin ridin the tree lines and dogs are workin lovin the nice weather. We worked out way on the other side of the place and Dogs are out almost 500yds and My red cur Fred strikes off and is bayed. Other dogs get in there and hog breaks out and go in the middle of a pasture full of nothin but bloodweeds 10ft plus. I see the hog and tell robbie to turn my two bulldogs loose. Before they got there bo hog broke out and we went prolly 150yds annd Hooey shut em down. Got in there and legged em and tied him down. Pulled Hooey off and Hog got him pretty damn good. Tore his back right leg up bad. Tore his back ligament so this hog most likely retired hooey at a year and ahalf old. Kinda mad but it happens even to the best ones. Well when i was tieing this hog, the dogs rolled out and next thing we know my dog flop starts hammering not evn 100yds from us and all we see throught the bloodweeds is hogs coming to us! It was a bunch of hogs prolly 50lbs. They brake out and We get the hog tied and dogs are everywhere. Robbies lil 8mnth old pup starts baying prolly 20yds from us and i lay on my belly and see a lil 50lb red hog laying there so i crawl up to it and pounce on like no other and was goin to tie the lil sow but didnt have any on me so i stuck her. Young dogs were trying to put a whoopin on them fifty pounders but they keep running and laying down. All the dogs did great. Bo hog weighed Between 220-250lbs.
