Lol! Naw, I'd rather take em out and drop em on a bigger piece of property that wants em there... Then we'll be able to catch them again later!

And mason did ok... Nothing special yet. He is starting to range out a little better but is still coming back to check in puppy style. He doesn't  know what is going on out there when they started hammering. That was the first time he'd been on hogs in the woods. After he got up to the catch he was trying to catch and nipping at nuts and barking on occasion, and I think he will be a little rough. He isn't as mouthy as i would like, but i think with age he will open up a little better. I'm going to give him a few more times on hogs in the woods before I start making any decisions. I have to be patient with them. I've learned my lesson having dogs that were doing good and letting them go to other people and then they make good dogs, so I will be holding onto him and his brother for a while longer to judge em better. But all in all he did good beig the first time on hogs in the wild.

at least he was showing interest being his first hog in the woods I would think he would be a little freaked out. whiskey was yoyoing pretty bad at first and after about three hunts with good dogs he has all but stopped that chit. One of the last hunts i made with underdog whiskey struck something and ran it 1.58 by himself and was gone huntin or runnin it for about an hour or so. I have had mine in the big woods probably ten times now and he has been steadily getting better. it will be interesting to see how they turn out.....

Thanks ya'll. It was a blast as always. I'm just glad that the weather is cooling down. Ready for this weekend... Cause those trigger happy antler hunters are going to be in the woods around her in just under a week. BOO!!!!  Cheesy
