What is the biggest appaloosa catfish any of yal ever caught? My biggest was a monster 150lbs. But I was wondering who had a story that beat it?

It was  when I was young and I didn't care about pictures I sure do wish I had one it was probly 10 or 12 years ago

I know I found that out later on and I know now that if I get a big one like that again then I will get it officially weighed but that was a once in a lifetime catch

We call them opps or yellow cats.
This is what they look like.

The biggest ive ever heard of being caught is 81lbs and the biggest I've caught is 59lbs.
The heaviest fish in those pics is 40lbs. 150lbs is hard to believe but not saying it can't happen. Where did you catch it?

back in the 80s one of my uncles and his buddy cought one 105 weighed it the next day after they cought it,ill see if i can get a pic of it

im real big into trot lines and noodling and ive never caught one over 50. ive seen quite a few between 60 and 80 and the biggest ive ever seen was 96 and a 84 on the same line an old timer caught a couple years ago.

Biggest for me is 163. I'm attaching two pics first is a 32 and a 28 pound. Next is a 163 and a 10 pound.

All of those were caught in Louisiana. That's were I was born and raised. Been in Texas about three years now. The biggest one I caught in little river and the two twins I called them were caught in the washataw  river. I know that's not how you spell it but close enough.
