What is the biggest appaloosa catfish any of yal ever caught? My biggest was a monster 150lbs. But I was wondering who had a story that beat it?

That sounds like it was a hell of catch. Fishing pole or lines?

To bad you didn't get it officially weighed that would beat the current record by almost 30 lbs.

I know I found that out later on and I know now that if I get a big one like that again then I will get it officially weighed but that was a once in a lifetime catch

We call them opps or yellow cats. This is what they look like. The biggest ive ever heard of being caught is 81lbs and the biggest I've caught is 59lbs. The heaviest fish in those pics is 40lbs. 150lbs is hard to believe but not saying it can't happen. Where did you catch it?

All of those were caught in Louisiana. That's were I was born and raised. Been in Texas about three years now. The biggest one I caught in little river and the two twins I called them were caught in the washataw river. I know that's not how you spell it but close enough.
