I take everything out of this lease that I catch. Lease members dont want hog thier at all. I've caught two boars and these two barrs in the last month. I have one big boar left and maybe a couple of barrs. No catch and release on this place.

The place to the far south of the lease has quite a few getting barred year round. I'm sure some of the barrs leave the country based on the deer feeders spinning this time of year. There just ain't nothing like catching a good Barr hog that you marked. I wish I could catch a Barr just like either of these two wearing my mark, he'd be on the wall for sure! |

I enjoyed the weekend but man it was some tough hunting Saturday. We left in the dark and got home in the dark and didn't tie a single hog. Here's another picture to show his color, probably one of the prettiest barrs I've ever caught!  |

Good hog Casey. Glad to see the young man going hunting too. I've been taking my 5 yr old a lot this year and he is really starting to like it...except the briars! Here is a pic of the hunting crew from the weekend with a sow we caught.  We may be going back to the same place this weekend, there is another black barr that was running with the barr pictureed above. |
