G'day everyone,
I had the weekend at home but Baden has done a couple of spur of the moment hunts lately. He's been getting some good pigs. Not a lot where he lives but what boars are there are generally big buggers. He has ben taking my brood bitch "Rose" and his brood bitch "Connie" they are full sisters. Heres a direct quote from him. He got 4 pigs, all found and bailed by the BMC's. Other dogs were used as "catch dogs" only. He estimated the boars to be 100kg and 80kg liveweight..Rose is on the left, Connie on the right...Troy
"A picture from last night / this morning, didnt get many photo's as the camera cra**ed it self. Connie and Rose where exceptional to say the least. Rose was on her 3rd hunt and helped bail the first pig then run on (on scent) to bail the sow 300-400m away on her own. Connie is on her 6th hunt and scented off the ute well before my old bitch Jess. These pair where quick to bail, real hard on the pigs to keep them bailed and lugged up when we got there with the catch dogs. I havent hunted pigs in a long time and its a real pleasure to take out these BMC's and watch them start up so quick and naturally.
Baden"
