I really don't know if this has been asked before and I would like to see the smallest catchdog that you have ever used in the woods or I would like to see some pictures or stories about them...

I used to love a small catch dog when I mainly hunted off horses. I would carry them in the saddle with me and ride right up on the bay and drop them off. I liked them around 35 to 40 pounds. I've got one now that is 9 months old and weighs about 25 to 30 pounds and I plan to use him out of the saddle unless he hits a late growth spurt.

Carlos is 44 pounds. But he usually has 200 pounds worth of cur and 255 pounds worth of T-Bob catching with him.
Me and my buddy Josh cuaght a real good boar hog with his 20 something pound Pitterpatter as the catchdog.

The smaller the better. I wish I could find one trained to ride in a back pack so I could carry one into a bay. Cuts out a bunch of noise and the aggravation of leading a bulldog through thick crap. When I get to the bay I could just put him on the ground, wind him up, and turn him loose
