i cant run dogs so right now im trapping, me and my wife lacey went and baited up real good yesterday mornin i went out to check on the traps last night and found sevveral hogs all around the traps but none going in one trap is a 12 panel round pen im not new to trapping and have always been able to catch em anywhere any suggestions that arent kool aid or a sal in the trap

What i do is bait the area reall good for a few days then just start baiting the trap and nothing outside,  may take a couple days but it always works for me when i get a few that dont wanna give up on the obama plan.  Grin

i had corn out then set the traps its been 5 or 6 days i put some apples in there too and watching my scent but ive never had to much trouble with that

Try taking a panel or 2 or more out and bait them in there and start adding panels back. Let em feel safe and get used to it before you set it again. May take a while but I hear that is how to catch the whole group.

Im going trrough the same situation right now. Ive seen over 30 pigs and only trapd 5 in the oast 2 months. I tried everything their is and no luck. When they came trough they even left corn that they didnt eat. I really dont know what to try anymore other that foot snares

I use flour and then pour big red on it caught 5 shoats last week

Hog Wild works wonders! If there are hogs anywhere near the area it will draw them in.

Make your trap not look like a trap. Thick brush no tposts.  Sometime fewer is better on panels like 3 or 4 is better for this.  Yes harder to get them out like this but it works.
