Well guys and gals, the begining of the week started out kinda rough! My G/F's dad had what he thought to be an absest tooth. he went to the dentist and foud out that it was an exposed jaw bone! A few years ago, he had cancer in his jaw, and they were worried that the cancer was back. Well after the visit with the dentist it wasn't looking good. He then went to a specialist and found out that it WASN'T cancer, just something to do with the chemo! My G/F couldn't be happier. Well then the fun started. We compete with hog dogs and go to baying around the state. We had a baying on saturday and did very well! We won the Two dog bay, and then we had 2nd and 3rd in the one dog bay! We ended up winning about $250 after all the entry fees were paid. Then Sunday came! We were going hunting to try and catch some piggies! Well we turned out in the cover crop field, aka the Honey Hole, and hit a big group! We ended up catching a small pig with the dogs. The big group busted and went all directions and thats all we got. We then swept the outside of the field and hit a pretty big sow with one of our dogs hot on the trail. The pig jumped a creek and was gone. I was the only person that was able to jump the creek and went running. I didn't catch up, but i jumped a group of about 5 25lb piggies! I quick drew the ole 44mag and busted one on the run about 30yds. I was syched up! I grabbed the pig and went running to where everyone else was and in the mist of celebrating to the others that were about 100yds ahead of me another small one ran out, and i threw the one i had down and went to running. I guess i was a little too excited that i forgot to pick up one of my feet in trying to run, and did a head first slide, like a baseball player staling second, but not as graceful! I now have a skinned up knee from it, but oh well, i got one of those nasty boogers! We then loaded up and headed to another place. Wel let out, and right off the bat we bay up a big sow that kept breaking and running! The dogs finally got her stopped and we got her! She weight about 150 to 175lbs! All in all it was an awsome week! Sorry about the long story, but i hope yall enjoy the pics!

You just tell Sheryl that I will trade doughnuts for deer sausage at the next event!
