My CD slipped off on his own yesterday and showed back up cut all over.  I couldn't get one of the cuts to stop bleeding, so i bit the bullet and took him to the vet.  I was told he would have bled to death if I hadn't brought him in.  The main cut was from the bottom of his chest to the joint in his front shoulder....guess he tried to catch a rhino.  He had alot of smaller cuts on his neck and chest.  He wears a cut collar all the time, and it's a good thing.  One of the straps on the cut collar was cut nearly in two.  It's safe to say his days of running loose at my farm are over!

Still waiting to see how much this is gonna cost me   Cry

I picked him up today and he acts like nothing happen.
Around $430 dollars and that included the fee for bringing him in after hours.  I think I might be a little more sore than he is!!!!  He even tried to get the vets cat as we were leaving Cheesy

Btw the Bullard Vet Clinic is alright in my book.

I think there are four vets working there in all.  They have worked on dogs for some of my buddies as well.  Nothing but good experiences so far.

Do you keep a tracking collar on all your dogs all the time? He said that the dog was at his place not out on a hunt.
