Worked some dogs yesterday in a woods pen. Dogs ran hard for a couple hours. Got done and watered them. Loaded them up everything fine just a little tired. About ten minutes from the house my Clancy dog let out a squall. I didn't think much of it. Got home and Clancy looked dead. I jerked him out of the box , he was breathing but unresponsive. Then started to have seisures I guess. His muscles would contract then he'd run in place laying down. That went on for thirty forty five minutes then he died. My vet and I are thinking aneurism. What are yalls thoughts? Thanks

What was the temp? Two hours running hard with no water till finished. It could possibly be heat related. Had a year old pup almost stroke out after hunting in about 82 degree weather. He wasn't in good enough shape and he covered a lot of ground that morning (got separated, backtracked, then retracked. Anyway, just a thought.
