Got a tote cage from work and in the process of making a box with off set rack for the samurai.

Last picture is how I want to weld it up. The kids will be able to sit on the bench. 2 bay box and 3 or 4 chain spots on the rack. Still need to build the doors and cut the back off the rack, weld it down and wrap it with exp metal. Will add finished pics with kids and dogs by next weekend. First dog box build and I am happy with how it is turning out. Using a flux wire welder from Harbor Freight.

Hope to finish it next weekend. I am on call so its gonna be a long weekend around the homestead. I also want to build something up off the front fenders to hold a dog or two or maybe a hobbled hog, but just thinking bout it.

Great set up Cody. Make sure you prime & paint them tote racks good. We use them tote tanks for water tanks at the camp. I have trouble with the bottom of the racks rusting out.  If you use some Chem-Prime or Endrust etc. on them you should be good to go.
Again, nice looking project you got going.

I am recycling for the greenies... The greenies in my pocket lol. I am in it about $100 worth the angle iron, flat bar, and welding wire/ grinding blades etc.

Thanks for the tip jimco. I'm gonna look that stuff up. Puting the doors on today, until the wife made me go birthday shopping for the kiddos.
