Met up with a new friend Danny last night, Turned loose around 9pm & ran hogs till 3 this morn. After Danny's Dogs started windin we turned a couple new dogs loose that came from Cody Wade, The race was on. We turned Danny's dogs loose shortly after and they finally got one stopped a hour r so later. Ended up being a lil sow But honestly think we got dumped on her By a Bigger hog. Jumped another around the same spot and ran till 3am never could get it stopped. All n all it was a good night, dogs had no quit to'em im definitely satisfied with them & Danny u got sum dam good dogs. Sow Me w/sow Danny w/sow

I cant complain too much, the Brindle gyp is a lil mouthy and so far from what ive seen they wont work separated from each other, they do have a lot of Bottom and seem to have no quit But there is a Bunch of hogs where we hunted them @ so I'll have to see how they do n less hogs. What's ur opinion on them?

They are good dogs have alot of go to them and no quit. But they are not $3500 dogs to me. Sold a redtick gyp on here while back for half that and they couldnt dust her shoes. I have seen them trash on deer skunk etc. Mouthy on track is the brindle dog way to loose cant shut a runner down alone. Hunt the rds alot from what i saw of them. If you like loose dogs that just go they are awesome. I prefer a dog that runs a track not stumbles on a track LOL. I just think they miss alot of tracks because they are to busy just hauling a$$. A long range dog to me hunts out in half circles and moves out 2-300 yds at a time not burns ass straight to 1000yds not checking anything in between. Dont know what you ended up paying 0 of my business but i would have givin around 2000 for the pair. Thats what i offered but he was deeper in than that i believe. The main problem with them is they have 0 shut down power we use to chase them dark till daylite catch 0 meanwhile my gritter med range dogs would produce. I dont mean to insult you in anyway that just my honest opinion on the gyps.
If you are happy with them thats awesome just not my cup of tea for that kinda money

Na not insulting at all and i agree with u in some cases, I cant really defend the dogs seeing as how ive only hunted them once but from what ive seen they r loose baying dogs which personally i do prefer. Personally i wont pay serious money for a dog thats more likely to be killed, jmo. But i will agree that they will need help shutting one down, But will give them credit that they will run it until it wants to stop. I dont feel they have reached  half theyre potential seeing as how they are around 2 1/2 and still not very mature and if i do decide to keep them that will play a major roll. As far as overlooking tracks once again i would have to see with time but when i turned them loose i sent them in a total oppisite direction on the first hog they struck, yes they did hit the ground rollin but hit the brakes and lined the hog out and stuck with it. All in all i think they'll make a dog But i appreciate your input.

Well where we hunt they ran the hog 10 hrs and never once got him to bay more than 5 sec. We prefer a dog with alittle grit to it. But like i said they are good loose dogs and if you are happy that is awesome they just dont fit our style or the type of hogs we have around there

There aint nothing wrong with a dog running a hog for 10 hours weather you caught it or not. I get so tickled when people say if they had their rough dogs they would have caught that hog. Well to me that means you catch every hog you get on. There is no way you can say you would have caught that same hog with rough dogs.  Makes no.sense

Actually i went back 3 days later and caught the very same hog with my rough dogs in less than 30 mins so yes i can say i caught the same hog. Maybe i expect more out of my dogs than most i guess. If my dogs run a hog for 10 hrs it better be there at the end

So you seen the hog but didnt get it caught? Or are you assuming you caught the same hog?
