Briar mus have some dominate red genes, out of the 9 mine had, they all look like they would have turned out red... Its a real shame, the world could have used some more yellers... |

my bet is that the female has one black parent and one red parent and the sire to the pups is red...The sire could be black but very unlikely due to the ratio of black pups to red pups... |
