Friday night my best dog LT took a bad hit to the neck. Saturday morning he was making a weird noise and I was afraid it was air coming out so I took him to the vet. The vet said there wasn't a hole in the trachea but it did appear that his voice box was hit. The sound was him trying to whimper. Has anyone ever had this happen before and if so does a dog ever recover from it? Thanks for any information you can give.

There our two types of pain: The temporary pain of training or the permenant pain of failure. Choose wisely...

Thanks. He's started trying to bark when I got home today it just sounds different. Maybe it will heal up.
