Mon o man how life gets in the way.
October a year ago I started hauling frac sand, not by design but because the company I was working for asked me to. The money sounded good so we thought , why not?

Well, 3 poay cuts later, seldom home and even more seldom home weekends and my dogs were chain foundering.

Karla was a trooper and kept them tended to, but I finally decided to back off and gave Petra to maverick 10 and sold him one of the pupos I kept. I sold the other to a guy in OK and just kept Blade and my AB , Sackett. I knew we could get a hog now and again with just those 2.

Anyway, after going thru January with 1 paycheck in 3 weeks, I gave notice. I didnt like laying up in truck stops 2-3 days t=at a time an hour from the house and we were going broke.

Now I drive for Mummes feed, good pay, good hours and home every night and weekends.

Then early Summer, I went to feed Blade and he was laid out and just wagged his tail at me . When I got to him, he was covered with tiny blood spots and bees.

Frigging African bees were in a hollow in the big oak out front and I guess they took offense to Blade and covered him up.

We gave him Benedryl, but he died in my arms and I was out of the BMC business just like that.

Adolpho and I had planned to breed Blade and Petra again, so at the time I wasnt worried not having any pups, but with Blade gone, that ended my chances.

Anyway, Adolpho has bred his Blade pup to his gyp and I am getting a pup there.

And since I havent been around so long, I thought Id stop by and ask about the rest of the pups out there and see how they turned out. I havent heard from anyone in a while. Adolpho kinda kept me up to speed with what he knew.

So how did they do guys? Make a dog, did you knock em in the head, or what and pics would be appreciated.

Bobby
