It was one of the many things I used on Grace. Can't say that it didn't work, can't say that it did because she was on an entire cocktail of things but it dang sure didn't hurt her. Have you got a parvo pup?

Sometimes not. What have you got him on for meds and nutrition? If you'd like to, give me a call and I can give you Grace's concoction. She never even got started puking/crapping.

did you have the dog tested for parvo kerry ? i see so many people hollering parvo at the first signs of illness . if my pups have had all their shots i start by looking at everything BUT parvo . and it usually comes down to coccie get some sulmet or albon or corid and treat . won't hurt . that is unless you know for sure it's parvo . this time of year wild birds migrating south bring in all sorts of differant ailments .

start giving the pup a couple 50cc syringes of iv fluid, plain yogart for the upset stomach, and sardines mixed with an egg for lost protien and iron. may have to shoot the sardines n egg down its throat, but it will help replace lost nutients. i saved 2 of 3 pups from the same litter that had parvo doing this exact thing. i got about 4hrs of sleep a day, but it was worth it to save them. good luck, and as halfbreed said, have the parvo test done, coccidiosis mimics parvo sysmptoms.

well dehydration is your worst enemy . i used a product called resorb for scouring calves glucose and electolite powder you mix with water . inject in the loose part of skin around neck till it swells up with liquid . keeps them hydrated for quite a while and the vitamins and electrolites keeps their energy level up . good luck .

wherever you got your shots from may have not kept them refrigerated correctly. If not thats the problem. If not refrigerated correctly it will give your dog parvo instead of preventing it. just sayin.

that's true gotta be kept cold that's why i shy away from buying from the bigger feed outlets [ hint hint and a wink ] seen so many times them places the employee's to busy complaining that they do all the work and as a result it doesn't get done . i buy mine from small old style feed stores where they take pride in doing things right and on time . CO=OP'S ARE YOUR BEST BET .
