I don't want to put my dirty laundry out on here. It would not make Jerry Springer but I need some prayers for my family and my marriage. I need some prayers for cooler heads too. I love my wife more than anything on earth. But I am real good at messing things up like a bull in china factory. I can't fix nothing only God can.

She won't even talk to me. I was kind of a jerk. I have been told that I get scary when I get mad. I would never raise a hand to my wife or even threaten her. It all comes down to how I want my family to be and her turning to someone else for advice and ignoring me. Well one of my sons is home schooled. He never gets one days work done in one day. I told my wife to try something this morning and of course she was mad at me and told me to do it. At 9:57 A.M. this morning he was finished with 1/3 of his day's work. I am letting him take a break and the rest will be done by noon. This afternoon I will have him do tomorrow's work so we can go fishing tomorrow. She will still be mad at me. Forget the talking I will let my actions speak for me.

Coming from a gal, just give her some time. I know when I get into it with someone I just need a few days and then I'm over it. I don't like trying to talk it out right away. Prayers sent tho, hope it gets better.

Prayin gor ya buddy. Mine likes to stir it and then tell me dont raise my voice,, then when i tell her she's never heard me raise my voice, she gets p.o.'ed. Hang tight,mit'll workmout. And,, i fell your pain with the schoolin. You are doing the right thing, let your youngin see there's rewards for getting his work finished in a timely manner.

I definitely feel your pain on the getting ugly when you get really mad! I'm the same way, and have to watch myself. That's been a long battle in itself. Prayers sent for you and your family, and I hope everything works out. It's really hard to talk about something when both parties are angry. Give her some time... If you're a strong couple it won't be anything but a speed bump. Just remember to breath when you get mad, and just walk away if you feel the need to get loud!  Good luck Dub! |

My wife and I went to a weekend to remember marriage conference, it was great. I recommend it to everyone married or engaged. I would love to go to another one soon, it really helps make your marriage stronger. Just google: weekend to remember marriage conference. Only costs about $125.00 or so.

Dub, i hope the very best you and your misses. From the times we talked n being on hear, i know she will get over it in time. best thing ive done and you could try it to is ive invited her for a date. get her a nice dress (make sure it fits or your #2 just got stinkier) and dress up real nice. at dinner just talk about your problems, this isnt highschool anymore and marriage is for two people to share themselves with. its not you nor her. its yall and thats how you two should go at it. sometimes the best way to fix something is to let it go and start over. its worked for me recently and i would recommend it.
