was just reading on here and seen that some one said not to give your dog la 200 now my question is what is the reason for this ive used it a ton of times never ever ever had trouble with it now that i said that i prob wont use it any more cause i just jinxed myself lol but really what is the big no no about it

I have only used this med once but I tell you what it made a real believer out of me. My bulldog had a terrible terrible cut and puncture threw his lower jaw that came out on the inside of his mouth on the side of the jaw. Not to mention five other punctures in about the same place. I was using regular penicillin procaine G and it was doing noting and fixing to get really really nasty as it was getting red on the inside of the mouth . A buddy had some LA and told me give him two cc of this and it will take care of all the infection so I did . Never gave another thing to the dog and four five days later the infection and everything else was gone and it completely healed with end a months time . This was a bad bad puncture wound and cut . I know without a doubt we were headed to the vet if it had not been for the LA. Only thing is never give more than two cc and rub it like hell after you give it . It will produce a knot sometimes were the injection is given and can be really sore in that spot . Very hot antibiotic .

Had a bulldog get stuck in the throat by a boar hog one time that was ugly. Lots of blood when it cut him but was able to stop the bleeding . He developed a big blood clott around his throat a day or two later. Pen wouldnt do it. Gave him 2 cc la 200, gave him another 2 cc the next day and he was good to go. Just watch what ur doing. Never more than 2 cc

I was told by Riceland Vet NOT to give a dog La200 quote (It will burn there a$$ hole up) strait from Rusty.

I use it regularly,but I give it oral. When I have gave it in the muscle it will make a dog go lame for a couple weeks in the leg that I gave the shot. I use la200 and la300.

It works, it is very hot, only give in cooler months! It will probably make them real sore, but it will kill infections.

I used it for the first time Monday. I was told not to to intramuscular do to it being a hot shot.... so I did it under the skin above shoulders...dog was sore next day but today is better than ever. I'll use it in small amounts over pen now.

yea thats what i do under the skin i was just wondering cause the other night i was reading and read not to give it i never do more than two cc and it has worked better than pen from what ive found

LA200 works great but don't give it IM nor sub-q, just draw up 3 or 4 cc and take the needle off and squirt it down them orally, every other day for a max of 3 doses.
