Lookin 2 get sum info on these dogs. Ive read the bickerin back an forth about them but id like 2 hear from sum that have actually hunted behind them. What did u like or dislike? The reason im askin is bc my hunting partner ( in a round about way) got sum of these dogs. From what ive heard from him an seen these dogs have more range an drive than any cate houla weve seen. Now im not saying there the best thing since sliced bread. Ive only seen 3 but all 3 are from different litters an are impressive for there age. 2 of them are rite at a year old and range an stick with runners like a seasoned dog would. Like i said above im not saying there the best ive only seen a few an im not tryin 2 start an argument just wanting 2 hear from sum guys that have hunted these dogs. Thanks

if they stick with the big dogs at a year then they have lots of potential...no matter what breed...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

They ones I've got are no joke. Guy around Austin tx I know has a male that young has his days where he isn't great but still not bad for a young dog. I have every intention of getting my hands on another one. They are gritty bad. I've talked with several guys in the bay pen circuits that have been around em for a while in that area, all had the same thoughts not the best bay pen dogs because if they don't draw a bad hog they usually catch out. Been the case with the ones I've seen as well. No backup my gyp got cut bad and never quit had to be carried back to the truck tried to walk back and made it about 3-400yds and couldn't keep going took 2 months for her to heal up but at the hog never showed any signs of injury just hammered away on him

They are great dogs. Extremely smart and a lot of drive. Like others have said they will get ruff. James is a great guy to deal with also.

I have a year old gyp and she will run with the rcd will bay big hogs and catch small ones. They are very gritty. But works the big hogs like working cows keeps them herded together and very fast. The more confendece they have the more they will take on bigger hogs.

Sounds like you already have your mind made up as you stated what they do, so why are you asking others? The one I had here aint here no more for a reason. Thats it was not a better dog that we already raising and hunting.

Sounds to me like he knows what he has seen already but wants to get more feedback and decided if the 3 he has hunted with are flukes or if there is consistency to this line of dogs..... Sounds like he is doing it the RIGHT way, asking questions before he buys.....

Thank u randy. Thats excactly what im doing. U always have a smart a$$ in the bunch that only wants to talk crap an not help others. Im not one 2 go out an just buy dogs. I generally breed my own or get them from my hunting partners an i already no there history. We ended up with these threedogs an ive been quite impressed with what ive seen. Im wanting to no if this line consistently produce these dogs. If so im IN! IF THEY WERE POODLES DOIN THE SAME THING I WOULD B IN. In not big on certain breeds i hunt what works best for me an so far the three ive seen are nice dogs. If anyone else wants 2 chim in on these line please do. Good or bad i want all the info i can get. Thanks

There was a thread on here you might want to search aboutsalty dogs. He might be a great guy but to me that thread turned me off all the way about his opinion and his dogs. Sounded to me like just fit his dogs to want a person any person wanted. Instead of culling for what he wanted. There again I don't know the guy nor his dogs.

I've seen a couple sons of the Earl dog that I liked. I heard Earl had a couple litter mates that were jam up. I know that Earl is straight catch. He's a hoss. I've seen some that were suppose to be Salty Dogs that came from a guy that bought into them. Out of the ones ive seen from that guy I think there's only one of those still alive. She will make a dog if she gets hunted enough.
