Took some dogs out tonight with my brother Heath and his nephews Donny and Douglas.  They have been wanting to go catch a hog but my main dog LT has been out but he was ready tonight.
We took LT, a new dog I'm trying Brook and my catch dog Bo.  We walked for maybe 20 minutes and about that time LT and Brook opened up 350 yards out.  I figured we were in for a race but I guess the hog never moved because they both were hammering down.  We walked Bo within 50 yards or so and cut him loose.  I figured it was a good hog because there wasn't any squealing.   I walked in and flipped the hog and Douglas came in with his new Buck knife and put him down.
I was glad the dogs made it easy on em and they were all smiles the rest of the time.  I wish they were all that easy.  Here's a  couple of pictures.

Thanks Monty!  That boar hog worked LT over pretty good but the collar and extra layer Larry put on his vest saved his neck.

Thanks Alan and Trenton.  Heck LT will be out again for a couple of weeks after last night.  He was baying so good I started thinking he had learned his lesson then he caught the hog right before Bo got there.
