I had a guy from May Tx make mine for me. He makes stuff for people all over the United States. From buckles, ring, necklaces, spurs, bits the whole nine yards! He hand engraves on anything this is the one he made for me. His buckles are anywhere from 200 to 250.

PM me and I can give you his info. He's a stand up guy 100%

Bob Berg, or Hy-O. Nicest ones they make, IMO!

SO.... Jared and I opened one Christmas gift tonight- I wanted to post these two on here just for future reference for folks looking for a custom buckle! One is Bob Berg, the other is Hy O Silver.  Now, you're prooooobably wondering why 2 buckles...

Grin About that Grin ... I read this post early November so I could start contacting these folks and get prices.  Somehow I got confused on the people I was working with and wound up buying 2.  Yea, totally messed up, and if I told you the story, it'd be pages long and you'd still be sitting there going  Huh? Huh? Huh? ... it's just a typical blonde moment for me.

I will say that Hy O Silver worked with me until we got the design just right, everything down to the font type, crystal color, etc, had to be approved.  They sent me design after design so I knew exactly what I was going to get.  Bob Berg- well, there wasn't as much customer contact, and they spelled "Bay Em Up, Lay Them Down," when I asked for "Bay Em Up, Lay Em Down."  Minor detail, yes, I know, and might even fix it if I asked them to, but being a Christmas present and all, and accidentally buying this buckle, I just didn't see any benefit in going through that over 2 letters.  I sent them the hog and dog images that are on the buckles, and both were very accommodating.

HyO Silver

Bob Berg

Love the name of the kennel. I bet the story is rather comical. Both look good but I believe I like the hy-o better as well.

Thanks y'all! Thought it may be helpful to share w y'all! And yes, HyO silver was just nice.... Right down to the box it came in. Lol. Granted, it cost twice as much but they wanted to make sure they got it right. They dealt with all my indecisiveness and still maintained their patience. At a month where they are swamped and dealing with who knows how many other indecisive wives, I think that says a lot.
