We found out this morning that just about a mile up the road from us, some thieves tried to steal some wire from my husbands counsins house last night. What they didn't know is that they have a laser that shoots across their driveway that sounds an alarm in the bedroom while they are sleeping. So my husbands cousin gets up and discovers the thieves. They run and jump in their truck to leave. He is firing shots at them the whole time. He blew out their windshield and put two in the radiator. But they are still hauling but. The other thing that the thieves didn't know is that every house in the imediate area are all relatives.  So the cousin that just unloaded his gun at the getaway truck called another cousin that lives in the direction that the truck was going. He jumps out of bed, gets in his truck and runs them down and rams the truck with his truck so hard that it knocked one of their tires off of its rim. By this time more relatives have been notified and they all arrive in time to hold the thieves at gun point until the sherrifs dept. gets there. I figured that yall would enjoy a story with a happy ending.  Ive included a few snap shots for your viewing pleasure. The moral of this story is that when you live in the country it takes a while for the police to arrive and help you..... even if you happen to be a thief with a gun pointed at your head.   |

If you look at the pics you can see that these arent kids. They are three full grown, pretty big men. This bothers me a little since Im here by myself a lot a night when James works graveyards. Im glad that I am armed to the hilt.

That is freaking AWESOME!!!!! Well hell Mrs. Dinah with relatives like that I wouldn't be to worried about anyone messin with you. Plus the 90+ pound black dog that resides in your house as well as the 75+ pound blue pitt in the back yard may be a small deterrent! |
