Boy do I love me a nice deep red redbone. I've been looking for a few new redbone pups. I usually just get pups from jimmy fox, but I was wondering if anybody knows of any other well breed redbones. I've noticed not a lot of people on this website use them. If you have any post some pics, I would love to see them.

You throw the name Jimmy Fox around alot. If he's got that established of a line then I'd like to see some pictures of a few of his dogs and what they look like. I'm sure they're is plenty of Florida hunters on here who could add to it.

They pure redbones, redbone crosses, or what?  What kind of dogs do they produce?

I don't know if I'd call these dogs a line since he just breeds redbone to pitbull.  You have to have alot of inter related breedings and a lot of years before a line actually develops. I'm sure they're well known and good dogs nonetheless, but I've never hunted with em.

How does crossing a redbone and a pit make a cur dog? And an F1 cross isn't a line of dogs?

I just want to see some pictures of redbones and hear if anybody knows of any good breeders. If you have questions about Jim fox and or his dogs ask for his number and talk about it with him.

Definition of a cur dog is a random bred dog or mixed bred dog. What else would you call it?

Dodgegirl, depending on how far you were willing to travel my vet here in northeast oklahoma breeds raises and trains nothing but redbones. He has the most beutiful big male dogs ive ever seen and more than his share of grand night champions on his yard. Sometimes he sells pups, sometimes he gives them to younguns  or good hunting homes, depends if they are planned breedings or if a dog slips his collar and helps his self to some sugar kinda deal. His name is howard mitchell and hes a wonderful individual that really enjoys his redbones. If this is something that interests you i can p.m. you his number,he would enjoy talking dogs with you.

Just a few years ago he sold his first litter to the public. Most of the time he just keeps the pups or gives them to his friends. I just got lucky that hes like an uncle to me so I'm able to get pups. Every now and then he has a litter that he will sell to hunting homes.

i'm sorry but this is soo wrong a cur dog is not a randomly bred dog or a crossed up dog what you are refering to  would be considered a MUTT  cur dogs are a type of dog been around for centurys don't confuse them for mutts

That may be how YOU define the word cur but it is not the definition of the word .
