Well yesterday I decided to take beefy ona lil walk. I was about a mile from the house n there was 3 lil girls outside around 8-10 yrs old.
I here them talking about how preety he was n they were trying to decide if he was an am bull or pit.
Two lil girls said those dogs are mean the oldest one said idc if they are mean there still beautiful dogs.

I wanted to stop n let them pet him but there parents made em go in till I was out of sight.

Just figured id share this.

I can't stand people like that. My step mom has got a little ankle biter that bites my full grown male dogo, and the dogo just rolls on the floor like its a game. That little dog is mean as can be.

i have to hear this type of stuff everyday with my father in law. he hates pits. he hasnt even personally had anything happen. we were staying with him for a while and it was everyday arguing about how 'bad' they are. he would google "pitbull" and read off all the negativity and say point proven. i would get so pissed off and tell him it not the dog its how it was raised. i even showed pictures of the supposed "pits" and tolod him most were not pits at all. he just said it says pit so its a pit. I try to educated as many people as i can how how great of dogs they can be but its almost as if its too far gone for the breed. i hope im wrong on taht but it doesnt look good

I would probably make my kids come in too, or encourage them to stay away from the dog. Not all dogs are friendly, no matter the breed, and not everybody wants their dogs pet.

I totally understand that.  Its more what they were saying cause I love pit dogs etc but I wouldn't encorage my kids to pet any random dog

us to take mine for a walk all the time at the local park, people were scared of him they would get off the trail that we were on. one couple started petting him. in a few weeks he was buddys with every one. people are just scared of these dogs for good reason and its like you say its all in how they are raised and some times how they are bread. ive been around a couple hundred game bread pits and only seen 2 or 3 dogs that needed killing over human aggression and it was because of mistreatment.

I don't even let my kids around my catch dogs, and they have never given me any reason to think they would bite somebody, but to me, they are good for about one thing....that's catching pigs.

I don't trust my girls alone with ANY dog especially a strange one! You just never know! I have seen peoples "nice house dog" bite kids.
