in my younger years my grandfather and uncle raised carver pits thers a term they used when a dog got at the age to see if he was a good competition dog my grandfather would say its time to start the pups. once you do this there is no turning back.if its a true bread pit its nature for him to fight and kill.you may think you have him or her under control, when that dog starts fighting its what he wants to do and loves to do. there not like a toy you can turn a switch and make them stop. i love and admire true bread pits the old bloodlines.it takes a special person to raise and take care of them properly they are still out there but the people who have them are very protective of letting them out to the public for good reason.

I've always said, a Patterdale is a terrier body with a bulldog heart! I'll always feed a few!

Ooooooh my......if only everyone had the knowledge to realize just how well bred those dogs are. I'd loved to have been able to put my hands on them dogs back in the day!

No not really I have had it put up now for a long time now.  I figure when I get about 60 am gonna take some of it and breed some select females that I got put back at a buddys.  Dont think for a min all the great game bloodlines are gone because that is the furtherst from the truth you just got to know who is who .  I know were there is some sperm put up on a dog that has been in the sperm bank since the late 70's the dog  is a brother to Gonzale's No Regrets  Am sure some of you fanicers will know who that ole dog is a ole ole friend of mine owned a ton of them dogs,  He also owned dogs off of Eli Jr, Brendy ,  he was great friends with Grady Cummings ,  also the man that owned the ole Maw bitch that is the foundation to all the White bloodline that Alien & Bullnumber 2 came from the White Bandit bloodline. He owned dogs off of Holts Jermiah was great freinds with Roland Fonento knew Pit General presonaly and it just goes on for days with bulldogs for me.   I owned some great ones but he owned alot more and is older than myself.  Its who you know is were the dogs are .

Yeah Reuben he was a great great dog and bred second to none when it came to bulldogs.  I was offered tons of money for that dog as a matter of fact 18,000.00 at one time all laid out on the table and turned it down my wife like to had a double heart attack at the time but there is just somethings that didn't have a price to me at that time .  He was one of a kind no other brothers no other sisters.  This dog was great with people but one bad bad Ambre when it came to other dogs and that included females and even in heat he could not be bred.  I myself and some of the very best dogmen in Texas tried to help me get him bred there was no way !

Some how some way he ate a purple collar that he got a holt of some were I have no ideal till this day .  I have never owned a purple collar in my life anyway had to take him to the vet they had to do surgery on him to get it out .  He came out of it great but a month later started coughing really really bad .  I took him back they said he developed heart failure and we like to had a killing at the vet that day because this dog was perfect and they done something when they took the collar out .  Anyways I was told if I was going to get pups out of him I better do it now but there was no way with the way he was .  So I called ICG and one of there vets ICG Certifided over in Hamilton TX drew the sperm from him and sent it to Symbotics in SD Calif ,  I had it all certified there and DNA tested .  So there would be no doubts in the future when it was used. I pay on it yearly .
