ive been buying some stuff called value-pac made by specialty feeds out of memphis its mainly a meat based ingredients and its holding my dogs over great with a very little amount of feed when their not being hunted and a little more when their being hunted hard and there is very little to clean up in the kennels in the evening and just about every walker dog man in this part of country feeds it and they RUN their dogs year round

I used to use Martin's Feed. Bad thing is you had to buy in by mailorder. But you got good bang for the buck. Dogs had lots of energy and looked real good.

I've been feeding sport mix 24/20 but am curious about the value pack.  As soon as they get a distributor a lil closer to home I'm going to give it a shot.

I feed a smorgasbord, lol. I switch between retriever high energy, purina dog food, Diamond High Energy and Diamond Extreme Athlete.

I like the Extreme Athlete when I know I'll be working the dogs hard or its really cold weather.

That's what I used to feed and same problem.  Switched to sportsmix black bag 24/20 and problem solved.  I also don't have to feed quite as much to keep them looking good.

Diamond was a good feed 10 years ago...I had same problem. Stunk up the whole yard. I now feed sportsman pride 26/18 red bag
