A little early but done deal now. My stag and one of my pit/dane's hooked it up once so I went ahead and kenneled them together. Stag is proven and been on loads of pigs. The pit/dane has only been on 12 pigs but she will go from 200 possibly more(never tried) and takes a break stick to get her off. I have never ran her on the ground but when her and her sister were ten months they were locating and catching drags from 150 to 250 yards.

Sire 31" around 80 pounds

Dame 75 pounds. Not sure on height but she is the tallest dog on the yard other than the Stag

Great looking dogs, but all I got to say is, "I'm glad I'm not paying the feed bill on the big black one!"   Shocked

Just kidding, beautiful dogs you got there.   Wink

Congrats, hope you get a nice litter!

I have a pair of stag pups coming this way to the swampland from a fellow member on here. SUPER excited about workin' em!

That should be a helluva cross there. Smiley

They are here. She had five females and one male. Two females were dead when I got home. Two are solid black with white on their chests. The other two are black with white on their legs and chest like the Stags white markings.

Paul or anybody experienced with hairy dogs,

All of them look slick coated right now. Will that change or do they come out hairy if their going to be hairy?

Chad...if they are real slick then they will probably be slick coated...but if the coat looks just a little furry that hair will grow some...
