Do you catch roaches in your house and let them go? You go catching a hog and let it go it is the same thing down here. On deer leases if you see a hog and don't shoot it they will kick you off. I tend to take them out alive and kill them as I give them to someone. I don't want to clean them but don't want the meat to go to waste. There is always a trailer park nearby that will be really happy to take one or two. You can't transport a wild hog and release it so I kill it when someone is about to take it and clean it. It makes you feel good to know several families will be eating good that other wise would not have much. There are also processors that will take them and use them to feed the homeless.

Dub  we don't have as many hogs around here as y'all do down there so we dont hunt to eradicate them I don't like to eat'em drag'em or skin'em I like to run them with dogs so therefore I'm not going to try to do away with them but to each there own if you like to kill them by all means kill everyone you can catch trap shoot or run over I'm behind you 100% ! An Tom hit me up and come join us we hunt every weekend and a couple nights thru the week usually your more than welcome anytime !
