I built this ATV box out of 1/2" conduit and 4" x 4 " square bull panels. Its not that heavy, will hold what you put in it (I have shoved some pretty good size hogs in it) and the door latches are lockable.  Plus the rounded corners help prevent tree branches and vines from hanging on the box corners. I like it as if I leave a dog in it, I KNOW he is going to be there when I get back.....not hung off the side and dead.

This is my box. I use it both in truck and big red. Cost me about $100 to build.

Heres mine. Started out as 5 6x10's but Currently it is 1 12x10 and 3 6x10's. They are great for pups but my adult dogs dont like em and act up until i put em back on their chains then they are fine. Im thinkin about converting a portion of it into a chicken coop.

Here's some of ours. We usually keep 3 dogs on the back and a bulldog on the front
