I got a pup that has a small punctures in its throat. cant get a vet tonight but dont want to lose it. Its a good pup out of a good dogs and i cant get another. female jagd somehow got up in its box and killed one and just about killed this one. Jagds are idiots i take back any good thing i ever said about them. I thought of doing a little surgery and trying to super glue it together its about the size of a pencil lead. I dont think it can make it until morning.will it heal if i can do something to get it air tight?

jagds dead and cremated already i got one good jagd left. my first one and when hes gone im out of the jagd business. its currs from here on out. ive had more trouble from them jagds than all other dogs ive owned put together. good dogs but not for me anymore.killing peoples farm animals while hunting.you name it they've done it. the guy used his dog to bred my female just as a favor only both natural bobtail dogs and noses to the ground at seven weeks. even bayed my 40 lb. boar i was just dreaming of taking em to the woods next fall.

I'm very very sorry for the loss of your pups. That's very unfortunate. How was it  that that Jagd bitch was able to access the pups?

These guys have prey drive through the roof as you know I'm sure. We pen or chain all ours away from small animals for that reason. If any of the Patts ever got loose it'd be a massacre for anything small. We treat them as we treat our bulldogs.

Love jagds, but they are full of misery. Hunt like piranhas, but if they dont get on a pig, woe be to whatever crosses their path first. And if you take a break to talk strategy, better get em on a leash or you'llmhave a dog fight, sorry to hear about your pups, my 3 lil jagd pups are kenneled with my jagd bulldog cross pups, which are a week younger, all behaving well, but about to seperate em, no sense pushing my luck

the male dog i have dont do that junk, except for what you described when you dont get on pigs. he was dog aggressive as a pup but only if one bows up at him now.He wont fight a female and never in the woods do i have to worry. I love him wouldnt want to part with him he hunts hard and gets pigs.he has gotten me in trouble several times. lost a good spot over him grabbing a ladys goose. They had a wild hog in a pen and wind came straight at us. I didnt even now about it being there. i guess the goose was just there and he couldnt get to the hogs.twice hes found wild hogs in someones pen. bad part is hes small enough to get in places other dogs cant.i know i dont have so much problems with curs and they hunt just as good and you can actually trash break them. With a jagd its not good enough to show them its hogs your after you have to break them off each species individually. break em off ducks and they still think geese are fair game.curs or hounds or some other breed is the way to go on hogs unless you hunt where there are no houses around.

That's crazy Sad I wonder what got into her if she'd been non responsive to them before.

Yeah they are hell on a hog, but then, they're hell on just about everything else too. Even our Patts, if they aren't focusing on working, they gotta be kept apart, as far as the dog aggression goes.
