Just wanted to share my thoughts on the GoPro.

Pros:
Amazing video quality in 1080. Looks amazing on my TV
Anti shake?? Not sure if thats the term but even while running this thing looks pretty good
Many mounting options
Great for up close shots

Cons:
No zoom. Everything looks a lot farther away than it is.
Looks like everything is recorded through a bubble.
Audio recording is terrible. Even in the case with the holes it sucks because the mic is on the back.

For the ones that own and use these what are y'alls thoughts? Any tricks in the settings to make this thing better?

I bought one and took it back after about 3 videos...

Hate how everything looks farther away and no zoom...

I should have had several good bay videos from about 20 yards but they look like they are 100 yards... And can't hear crap on them unless your 10 feet away or a limb slaps it..

And from most of the videos I've seen ( including mine ) there's more video of the ground than anything!!

I took mine back and got a small video camera with extended warranty for cheaper and got heck of a lot better videos...

Only thing better about the go pro was being hands free..  Wink

I've had mine for several months now so I don't think returning it is an option. Huh?

Anybody know of or use any other cameras that are hands free?
