we have a 50/50 chance of improving or falling further into the a black hole. if we continue to vote or allow politicians to maintain office, we are royaly SCREWED!!!!! its time to improve america, not wiping our butts with it. come on revolution, hopefully it will happen before i get to old to fight in it.

It will either get better, get worse, or stay about the same. No matter what there ain't much I can do about it. Our government is not legitimate anyways.

The temporary reduction (to 4.2%)in employee social security taxes lapsed and returned to the rate (to 6.2%) that they have been since 1990.  That is not stealing from you.  This is not an Obama issue.  Republican and Democratic congresses and presidencies have supported the 6.2% tax rate.

Which doesn't amount to much at all.

That may b ur circus rl, but it dang sure aint mine. Im with dub, the current gov aint a legit government. The gov is full of thieves, they raise the workin class tax rates, and then turn around and that anirexix silverback signs a pay increase for theirselves. Only a blind and or stupid person cant see that our gov is corrupt and stealing and bleeding the live out of this once flurishing country

I think the raise was $900 a year.  If you've ever dealt with a politician, that is chump change compared to their political contributions and usage of their campaign funds.

It dont matter if it was $9 or $9,000 a yr. our pay dont go up like that, we as common folks cant just vote ourselves a raise. Who the he!! Gave them the authority and power to vote in their own paycheck?
What happened to doing the job for the love of the country, not for the love of their bank acct? They r not their to do better for the voters, they r there for there own monitary agenda and say screw the working class, we r more important.

Its time to refresh the tree of liberty

Hate to break it to yall but Obama didn't do this stuff alone. He may be driving the train but there is a whole line of Ds & Rs in line behind him.
