Well nevermind I reread post pretty self explanatory it's the same dog just having pups. My question is why u selling her if your looking for a finished dog two adds below?
Because she is open and I don't hunt her with ally silent dogs so she never really gets to hunt with me

Lol no get popcorn ready! Was not degrading your dog! I am actually one of the fellas inquiring about your dog. After paying closer attention I realized your selling and looking. I was just curious as to why you'd be selling if it's working and catching hogs? That's all not starting anything just asking them realized I'd found my answer to my own question sorry if I offended anyone!

Looking through your post history not knowing you and seeing the post you have put up you couldn't pay me to take any dog from you. Just think of the name your putting out for yourself if your on this site for the right reasons and selling dogs legitimately.

Ok let's stop all the bs. Lthogdoger is a nice young man. I think he is like most people and needs to slow down and be patient. About a year ago he contacted me and asked if he could come hunting. Well I am very hesitant to take lots of people, it can cause all sorts of problems. Well after talking to him a couple of months he did come hunting with me, just a tag along. He is a very nice respectable young man, who is very busy in highschool sports. He comes from a good family, his dad brought him to my house and meet me before he was even allowed to go hunting. He had this gyp then and was wanting a dog that was not open on track so he could hunt with others and bring a dog. Many will not let him bring an open dog along on hunts, so I understand where he is coming from looking for another dog. I wish he would just slow down & tag along with others for a wile but I know how youngens are and want there own dog now. I think his intentions are true and is a nice young man. I would bet the gyp is a nice dog, just not the type of dog he desires. I am not wanting to stir the pot, I just want to try and end the bickering.

Insight tends to change things. I do know how his situation can be. When u run a dog that is different than the other folks u hunt with they don't want u running ur dogs with them. I personally run a RCD and a couple rough bay dogs. Most of the ones I hunt with have back up and bay dogs. They don't like my dogs on the ground until we get a runner then its turn urs out.

I've hunted behind LTHogdoggers strike dog gyp and she's a damn good dog will go out and hunt her arse off. I thought this website was about helping people out and catching hogs with good friends not to start stuff with someone trying to get a pack together. Nobody lets him hunt with them around here because of his gyp being semi open. So he's looking for a dog that's silent and just as good as she is. And I'd bet my left ass cheek she can keep up if not outdo any of your leading strike dogs.

Why haven't you bought her... http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/index.php?topic=63582.msg416423#msg416423No offense, but if she'll out do everyone's lead dogs, then everyone would want to hunt with her. Hell, if she's that good, load her up and head this way. If she's better than mine I'll buy her... I'm always looking for better dogs.

X2 ANd that's a bold statement to make logan99. If she is that great and strikes and stops that many hogs you don't need to hunt with anyone else, if u do just don't take her. Simple enough I'd say!
I would say its that simple too, but when u have an open dog it kinda gets old having to listen to her the whole time knowing the hogs are running farther and farther every time she starts barking.. I would love to keep this dog, but I ain't that interested in hunting semi-open dogs anymore.. I could be catching a lot more hogs with a silent dog of the same caliber. I have shared my moments with this dog and caught many of pigs behind her but I need a silent dog more than I need an open one.. It's not always as simple as u think!

So im guessing the problem is that she has too much bottom and is running the hogs too far before baying one??

Yeah u could say that
Ok let me ask this... If that same dog was silent, why do you think you would catch more hogs?? If she was silent on track, but would bark when the hog broke, do you think you would still catch more or would it be about the same as if she was open on track??
