It'll still be working when your garmin is beeping "out of range". Seriously though I believe there is a place for both of them. I just can't find a durn holster. Garmins have taken over and every place I've found says discontinued.

How big does it need to be?  I got this from bass pro for my garmin, so it was plenty deep enough i wouldnt havw to worry
