.....since I've had the dogs out. Have been lucky enough to make a few runs during deer season but been laid up for a few weeks. Dogs did great - bayed a good running boar about 2 miles off the place. Had to call Sam and Track off of him - very disappointing when you're standing 18 yards from a bay and can't finish it but that's part of it. Regrouped and headed deeper into the ranch, Butch threw his head up and in they went....bayed this young bachelor boar in a dry creek bed. Not a huge hog, but the size and teeth combo that can make a mess. Deets (Sam x June) pup and boar.  Dogs clockwise - Monster (Pit Ridgback cross - started CD), Tracker (Plott cross), Lily (Sam X June pup hound/cat cross), Butch (Catahoula), Dozer (Dogo or Dogo/Pit???), Chunk (one of my red/white CD's), Sam (3/4 Walker 1/4 Bluetick), Deets. As you can see, we are not partial to any breed.    |

sorry to hear u lost the first one, sounds like hes pretty smart , the sec hog is a good one as well . that a fun place to hunt . i like the pics
