I've owned two sport dogs and they work but if I had it to do over I would've spent the extra money and got a tri tronics.

I use sportdog on my retrievers and got houndhunter for my pack, really like em. Houndhunter just as easy as the tritronics to operate

Ive got the sport dog hound hunter. With all 4 collars. Works real good on my deer hounds. Im fixen to sell mine if your looking for a used one. Im upgraded to the new garmin alpha.

I HAD A SPORT DOG, WHEN IT QUIT ME IN A LITTLE OVER A YEAR I BOUGHT A TRI-TRONICS AN HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS

Bought the one with 2 mile range and have not had any problems yet. Mine will reach further than my buddies tri tronics
