My garmin list signal on one of my dogs yesterday around 11 o'clock. I didn't think much about it because its happened before. I just kept riding roads looking listening and trying to get it to pick my collar back up. I stayed till 9:30 and still nothing so I headed home. I talked to a guy on my lease and told him I lost my dog and he said he'd call around to people in the area to tell them to be on the look out for a red brindle  dog.
Two of my buddy's went back to the lease and rode all over looking for him and there was no sign of him.
I was thinking the worst, that maybe he got cut down or somthing but the guy on my lease called me this evening and said his buddy saw a brindle dog at the store in Saratoga with no collars on. Brian was a nice enough guy to drive to that store and send me a pic to see if it was my dog and it was but the dog left with a garmin collar and a day glow collar with 2 numbers on it.
I can't really say some one took my collars off and dumped the dog off but that sure seems to be what happened.

Any one hunting round honey island might want to keep an eye on their dogs.

Seems odd that they'd take your regular collar unless they just hate you. I've had a young dog check in before and thankfully I noticed that he didn't have his cut collar on, so I looked at the Garmin and sure enough it had him treed at a few hundred yards. Went to it and his collar had got hung on barbed wire and he slipped it to get free. I'd bet your dog slipped his collar. Or at least I hope so.

I hope your right, but I don't see this jug headed dog slipping a collar but any thing can happen. I'm just happy I got him back.

My collars were found throwed out at the camp on that lease. They were not slipped.
Think if I take that collar to the police department they will scan it for finger prints?

I have hesitated to say this due to the fact I don't know these people but I find it odd u call a guy and tell him ur dogs are missing and he calls u back saying his "buddy" saw them at a store. That just ain't right to me.

That's not at all what Shotgun wg is trying to say.  Your calling the guy who lost the dog shady, now that makes absolutely NO SENSE. He posted this to find more information out to see if this type of thing happened frequently in the area.

I haven't accused any one of any thing yet. No of this sh!t makes any sense at all. I can't figure out why my collars were throw out at the camp and the dog was at the store. If my dog slipped his collars at that camp after running all morning he'd still have been laid at that camp. only thing I can come up with is some one picked the dog up and got scared they'd be saw with it and dumped it on the side of the road or some one is not wanting other dog hunters on that lease and trying to make me think there's dog thieves around so I don't want to go back in there or my dog crossed some fences in there and it pissed the wrong person off. Either way so bs took place some where and I'd sure like to know who's behind it.

How am I being shady wranglecurs?
