With Bucho still out of commission... we decided to pull one of the old meatheads out, slap a vest on her, and roll with it  Grin   Kicked Shine and Spinner out first, as they eased into an edge and caught a sow perty quick.  Got to them and they rolled off and made a few half mile loops runnin' run till he straightened out and they stuck with him... bout 45min/mile away they bay up in a big palmetto head and we head to 'em.  I had about forgotton how hard mouth ol' Snapper is, for a 45# cur dog... she locks hard as any bulldog I ever seen.

Vid part 1

Vid part 2, with 6 of us moving through the palmettos toward this bay... sounded like a herd a damn elephants LOL

Vid part 3, eased in ahead to see if I could see much but he was backed up into a head

Vid part 4, Caught HAWG  Grin

Girls relayed off a him and bayed another sow up a few minutes later, was a good day.

Thanks Neal, can't wait to see it!  Jimmy, yall would really have liked her dad.   Donny owned/trained him, his name was Joker... he was the father to Snapper, Chub, and Shiner... He was old school, big, raw boned block head FL cur.  Short range, bay and catch God himself if you told him to.  He was as hard as they come, just put down about a yr ago from cancer at around 11yrs old.

He does like them rough  Grin... been tossin' around the idea of breeding back down to isolate the Joker genetics... although I've been breeding away from it for my bay dogs, but for catch dogs... ain't nothin' better!  Grin  That dog sho enuff was a tough SOB.  I can still see his substance that shows up in alot of my dogs.
