After plumbing (work) i Hooked up with Landon (purebredcolt) garrit skiles (westexas and Then the usually after that.. But we kickthe dog out around 630 and hunted for about 45 mins and my lil ginger dog is starting to get away from us so we decide to half way keep up with her and close to distance to 800 and cut the ranger off to listen, Dylan climbs up the hill alittle bit and could hear her hammering down so we headed that way. We didnt take any lead in bulldogs just the rough crew well we close on her 100 yards and every dog beside the 3 rcd are of course there off doing there own thing well i decided to just try and sneak up to it and shot it with the pistol but it breaks and we chase it for another mile and get it bayed solid again but this time he has close enough to the rcd to hear it and they came running and we had a caught hog. Garrit and Dylan got there alil before me and maylee because my gf (maylee) which usually 95% of the time keeps up with us but this time she was slow and I had to keep waiting on her yelling at her to come on because there the only one with a knife. But after a min or so she gets there and seal the deal on the 280-300 lb spotted boar...

Dylan and garrit with spanky..

Maylee and me with holly

Could be marked caught 2 out there that were.   Lastnight was a cluster dylions spanky dog earned his keep that is for sure.  I made the dumb mistake of leaving my dogs on the wheeler and was tring to get back to them to add some more catch and spanky had it covered.  This is a hog I caught in a snare twice about 3 years ago and he broke it both times.  Kinda sweet sorrow to see him go lol.  Matt sure has some go yonder dogs im not used to lol.

Real nice hog good job, hey in that one pic you have there with all your dogs is that one dog wearing a ugly dog guardian vest if so just wondering how you like it was thinking about getting one of those for one of my RCDs i have but wasnt sure on the weight of it and flexibility the dog has in it and how well it protects your dog. thanks

Yeah I think that it is the guardian. He seemed that he needed a little while to get it broke in when I first got it but it is a pretty lightweight vest that so far has been tough as nails. I really like the three leg flaps on it and the bib.
