yeah i have them pictured above. one red dog is a female cur that was a squirrel dog and is turning into a hog stopping machine.
I have two males left out of the original 4. One has a great handle, not a lot of mouth on track but opens when he heats it up. he is not ranging out real far but if i put him in fresh sign he is gonna find a hog no doubt. he runs a track more like a hound than a cur. i notice on the garmin he isn't running it quite as fast as the other dogs.. that could be the age on him too though. he always ends up bayed wherever the hog stops or gets stopped. he has been cut a few times and he tends to be real independent rather than being the tagalong like I have seen in a lot of young dogs. He earned a name and a spot on my yard . Rollin

the other male is wildman. I couldn't help but name him cause my son was tired of me telling him he didn't have a name yet. Due to him being rougher than hell I havent' hunted him much. i finally took the time to pen him with something that wouldn't take his catching nonsense and backed him up a bit. Although the last few hunts I have had him on he has ended up by himself catching pigs and killing them. When dogs leave out on a group he goes his own way and does his own thing. He likes the smell obviously and is gonna have some hunt to him but if he dont' stop catching he will be worthless to me.

With that said I have hunted these dogs like I have never hunted before. I have been laid off for almost two months and hunted them 5 days straight some weeks never less than 4 times a week. I have put the miles on them for sure.

Ill be able to give you and anyone else a good update on them at the end of the winter as i plan to hunt the piss out of them two by theirselves and see what they have got.

I am real hard on my dogs and a buddy and I were talking the other night about perfect dogs..... i need to quit striving for perfect and just catch hogs. I mean hell, im catching the number 2 out of hogs...... aint that good enough... lol. I am hard to please and I can point out every defect these pups have but they get it done. im happy and looking forward to getting some more from a diff cross. When I come back yalls way Im bringing my whole crew and rig and gonna shut down some runners over there. we should meet lance
