My buddy over slept so I went by myself. I loaded my Fl Cur Gator and my catchdog Clyde, and got to the woods by 6:40. Both the dogs are just turning 18mo old and doing real good for their age. Cut Gator loose and walked for about 30 minutes when I saw Gator pop out in front of me about 150yds on the firebreak. He gave me a quick look and then motored down the firebreak road with his nose up in the air and bailed off the road into a palmetto thicket. I continued in his direction looking at the Garmin when he was just under 400yds he starts baying.

Clyde is young and was all amped up hearing the bay so when we started jogging in Gators direction he was pulling like a sled dog. Really need to work on that!! At 65lbs he is a strong dog!! Maybe I need to enter him in some weight pulling compititions!! Get to the spot Gator cut into the palmettos and start in. Its pretty thick and takes us alittle time, but it was nice to here Gator working the hog. When I get about 10yds out from Gator baying I still can not see what he has bayed up so I cut Clyde loose and hear a caught hog. Gator jumped on when Clyde caught. Hobbled her up and got the dogs out to the firebreak rode and tied off. Went back took a picture and man she looked like she was going to pop. Cut her loose to have the next batch of runners!!
