i ahve a 1/2 cur 1/2 pit gyp that i am wanting to sell.... reason for selling is because i was using her as a running catch dog and im trying to steer away from using RCD's.. she is a great dog, good natured with plenty of energy...she will catch hard and hates a pig. she is around 2 yrs old now. she is even hunting on her own a bit but was mainly used as a RCD. I would like for this dog to go to a good hunting home. I am asking $125 for her... located in brenham tx... she is a very pretty dog also.   her daddy was a jam up strike dog and her momma was a dang good catch dog |

Hey man. Why are u getting out of the RCD's ? I got one of her pups and she is awesome on a hog. She is just about 5 months old now and can wrestle a hog twice her size to the ground. She has a funny way of catching them. She runs them down and jumps on their back and grabs ahold of the ear. I wish I had room for her mama. She is extremely intelligent also. She has been trained around cattle and goats. She is the friendliest dog in the world until she sees or smells a hog. This is an outstanding price for a given producer. Guys, I have seen this gyp before. She looks even better in real life! She is easily worth more than $150, or whatever he's asking for her. Go get her!

Does she catch like a bulldog? Lock on till you break her off and does she only catch on the ear or does she catch where ever?

Hey guys thanks for all of the replies! But im sorry she sold today to kye out of navasota. Overkill- hey man im glad to hear that her pup has been turing out for you! i m ot completely getting out of some of the RCD's i just didnt hunt her that much and she was more of like a pet since i was scared of her getting cut up cuz she was so pretty! lol id love to see some pics of your pup! my email is bam028@shsu.eduMarshall - hey man thanks for the nice comment you gave about pearl! she's gonna make that boy a good dog! we need to get together a hunt as soon as it cools down some!!! Matt - yes she would catch like a 100 % bulldog, a break stick is a must but she had the agility of a curr dog. and she would catch on the ear 9 out of 10 times thannks for all of your interest guys! |

Hey!  There should be a rule about not bragging on a dog after it has sold! Especially if I was the one that didn't get to buy her!!!  lol Sorry I missed out on her. She is sure pretty and sounds like the kind of catch dog Im after. |

haha yea i need to check this thing more that once a day!! lol yea i might be interested in trying to find out about one of her puupies that i gave away.. now that they are a little older i bet they are gonna turn out! if i get my hands on one ill let you know!!

I will consider that a favor! If you keep up with the Navasota guy you sold her too then let him know Im interested if he ever wants to sell her.
Ive got a great lead in catch dog right now but I would really like a good female with some leg so I can ride my mule more often when I hunt.
