Fed diamond high energy for bout a year now but tired of NASTY stools so bought black sportmix today sure looks and smells better.

Does anyone know why diamond does their stool so nasty?

back in the 1980's I used to feed a dog food that was sold under the name "JOY" dog food and it was a good dog food at that time...Seems like it made the dogs coats have kind of a sweet smell to them and the stools didn't smell as bad as other dog foods...

I wonder if it is still being sold out there?

Sport mix in the black bag was nice but job changed and ain't got the money for that anymore. I buy Ol Roy red bag from Walmart and my dogs ha e never looked so good! Fed diamond HE and they jus lost weight. I hunt 3-4 times a week no less then 4 hrs a hunt. For the money Ol Roy's is good for me and its a 50lbs bag 17-18$.  Grin

I jus feed the regular red bag. And my dogs look great! This is my redtick and lead dog. Put 20 pounds of muscle on him with the Ol Roy red bag, and nothing else.
No matter what u feed, you have too make sure the dogs are worm free! U can feed em all u want but if they have worms it won't matter what u feed em, they won't gain weight or look solid.
