Stags are great dogs! They take longer to mature but if you have patience, you'll have a machine! Pit/greyhounds work well too. This female belongs to a good friend. He produced her out of a hot blood dog to an inbred Mayday female.

Damn! That looks like one those dogs in an Egyptian movie lolol

She's a nice dog! There's more like her coming and trust me, you can't find blood like this anywhere else! Sorry to get the thread off topic with a pit/greyhound.  Grin

Like I said, stags are great dogs! Silverton is the man to listen to when it comes to them!

I really like the looks of that GH/Pit female. How fast and how hard are they? And do they all have that look or is there some variance in the litters.

Hey Mr. Paul. They are very fast and very hard. This female has killed SEVERAL coyotes on her own. She is straight catch on hogs. They all have had this similar look. He has used 2 different males and 2 different females and all have been very true to this type. Like I said before, you won't find greyhound blood like this anywhere else in the hunting world.

He is a hog hunter who has a little of everything. He has some track dogs as well as some very well bred game bred bulldogs. He mainly does the breeding for himself and may place a few with his friends so most are usually spoken for but send me your contact info and I'll let you know if any come available.

Here is a pic of the dog that i plan on breeding to in the future..A good fried of mine up in Kansas that does alot of coyote hunting owns him. He is his best dog he has ever had..He is a coyote killing machine and is straight catch on a hog. I have never seen a dog this fast...

RIght now the plan is me sending a gyp out of the Pit/Reg. Scott type AB breeding that i did 2 weeks ago(if she took) and putting Tall Boy over her..I sure hope it all works out the way i expect it too!

Here is Tall Boy

Have hunted stags for 25 + years here in kansas they are a great dog to use on all sorts of game however on the trash breaking side if you buy a dog that is old it will chase whatever it has been taught to and who knows what they guy or guys before you had trained him on so he will do what he has been trained to do thats only right but if you take a pup and break him as he grows up 90% of the time he will only chase what you teach him i have had dogs that would let cats sleep in the dog house with them and one cat even had a litter in the dog house the dog gaurded them but the dog were hard core on  a coyote. and also had pups that run lose and never chase a chicken or cats and were good on coyote also had a litter i put in with goats to get the used to livestock never effected there coyote hunting really solid litter and would not chase a deer for that reason and stay clear of cattle. it would be like putting a championship litter of hog dog pups in with hogs of there size bet they would never chase a hog if they were raised with them!!!!!!! geuss is what i am saying is its how the are raised!!!!!

Wouldn't doubt it one bit, the momma to a few of my currs is a coyote killin sob, some dogs just take a likin to whoopin a coyote!

Not talking about greyhounds that will do the job. Talking about the bloodlines.
