Well my Black N Tan is really working his tail off! Dropped him out of the box next to a natural spring creek and in 4 minutes he went 350 yards and treed. We made a walk through nasty briars and stickers but got there and was a nice boar coon we shot him out to Black and he killed him. I can't ask for more with this dog. Has lots of bottom, smooth howl when treed, silent on track, leads good, not a whole lot of slick trees, and most importantly he has never trashed! A buddy of mines dog treed a possum and he just came to see what was in the tree never barked and ran back off. And he's only two so no telling what level he will be able to compete with at 5 or 6 years old!

Me black and the coon

Coon hunting is something I've looked into up in Indiana. I'd love to get me a blue tick but I can't afford a dog right now at the moment.
