do yall have any tips on how to get rid of the flies they are tearing my dogs ears up is there any way to get rid of them

We had the same problem, and we talked to many people about the cattle fly tags! If your dogs are individually staked or penned up, then the fly tags will work. If they are penned together where they can get to each others tags, then i wouldn't do it! All our dogs are staked out individually!

I bought the Flys Off spray and the lotion and I've been pretty much globbing the lotion on their ears and rubbing it in good then spraying them down, been doing that about every other day, it works pretty good but kind of a pain to have to do all the time

I just keep up with my flea and tick applications and this helps to prevent the flies as well. My inlaws have 2 German Shepherds that stay with us that are not up on all their meds and the flies are tearing up their ears. My dogs have never had any problems with flys and we have tons of flys around here. Fly sprays are a good temporary solution. We use The Advantage Multi and that is the answer. We never have any problems with flies, ticks or fleas. This might not work out for everybody but It sure works out for us on all 4 of our outside dogs.

I have sprayed Adams flea and tick spray on them and it has helped keep them off.I have also put a little bit of vinagar in there water and it helps also.

I have the automatic fly sprayers in my pen, sprays about every 15 minutes, best thing ive used and you dont have to do anything

I use disposable fly traps from Tractor Supply. The flies seem to like that better than the dogs.

I use a couple of things that has worked wonders for me. Tractor supply horse spray for fleas, ticks and flies in white bottle, I have the automatic sprayer set up out there and it works wonders. Sometimes if tractor supply has is sweet pdz which keeps kennels fresh and flies away.
Just a thought and dogs look happy to not have flies biting the crap out of them.

Two things that I know work are ultrashield spray and quick strike bait stations.
Ultra shield is weather proof fly spray in a black bottle. Get ready because it is about $20 per bottle, but it is the only product I have ever found that works just like they claim. It says it works for 17 days, and it certainly has worked that long for me. Apply to ears if that's where you are having problems.
Quick strike bait station is a plastic grid with a pesticide and attractant inside. Hang it up about 4 feet off the ground and watch the fun. Flies are attracted to it, and within a count of five are in their death throws on your floor. It doesn't create a stink like those fly trap bottles and bags. The only issue you will have is needing to sweep away the pile of little fallen flies under the quick strike.
