What kind of vest do yall prefer to run on dogs? I will be hunting primarily in the winter and all 3 of my dogs will be mainly RCD's. Do u run a vest with a cut collar or do they have a vest with a cut collar built into them. All my dogs are pretty gritty and I would like to protect them foremost. I am new to the sport and need some help in where to look for the best type of vest. Thanks in advance.

We use a ugly dog cut vest on our catch dog and ugly dog cut collars on our bay dogs. Our catch dog is a pit with a short neck so The vest by itself has worked well for us. If we run a young bay dog in the winter, we put a bay vest on it until it learns to give a hog a little space.
