Well we where sponsored again to hunt the Gator Tournament this weekend but Taylor and I couldn't hunt all weekend and he said no problem so i met Wynne, Brandon and I at 930 Friday after spending some time with my daughter before i headed out.  We turned Superman and Swish loose right at 10pm and they went 600 and struck a 200 pound boar.  When we arrived Superman was rolling out so i made a mistake of hobbling him with one hobble (i've done many times to save on hobbles) to a dog lead.  We got up out of that creek to see Superman was at a 1.5 and still rolling so we got in the truck and drove at least a mile and check he was at 1.70 treed so it took a while to get off that place and head to where he was at.  We drove down the county road to get within 600yards of him and walked in to 100 and cut 2 bulldogs to him.  Caught hog.  We got in there to see we had a 280 to 300 pound sow no doubt.  GOt her in the trailer and headed back to load the other boar before we went to sleep.  Dogged by rhino getting it in there to where the boar was tied to find the dog lead broken and a boar running around with one hobble on.  DIdn't have any dogs with us so we said oh well and called it a night.  Taylor arrive around 630 saturday morning and we loaded up and drove the ranch.  We turned out Superman, Lasy, and Mack... Dogs went everywhere taking there own tracks.  Miles later we had one 200 pound sow tied behind lacy and Superman, they rolled out so as we are tracking other dogs and driving along in sxs we drive up on a heard of about 40 hogs so we raced across the field to send Chica my SOCO X to them.  She pulled a 200 pounder down on the full run then me and taylor broke her off and sent her again to catch up and she caught another 200 pounder..  That is fun right there! Wink  So after that we headed to track SUperman and Lasy and they showed treed 2 miles away so we headed to them after leaving them for several hours.  AT this point we retreved mack and headed to them.  They where bayed solid so we walked into 50 yards to see it's another 200 pounder sow sent Chica and as loose as they bay she ran right by the hog and it broke and ran to us about 20 yards closer, when Chica heard her brake she did a 360 and came and hit the sow head on right in front of us!  Caught hog.   We headed out after this one for some lunch and got back after it around 3pm.  Turned some of wynnes yelloars loose and Jade Taylors gyp and the chases where on.   Long story short we chase dogs for a while and ended up baying a little 50 pounder and so we stuck it and moved on.  It's now 5pm and we have bays going on but nothing standing yet, so we waited and finally a little after dark Jade and Mack worked one out and had a solid bay so we headed to them with Chica sent her from about 80 yards to hear the hog break as soon as i tuned her loose.  So we call for her and call for her as we are dang near running the whole time while we watch her on the garmin.  We caught all the bay dogs but no CHica, 800 yards later we come to an open field and she is showing 700 more yards treed.  SO we run as fast we can to hear her caught so we try to run more but i can't go anymore so we walk in to see her caught on a 110 pd boar hogs she tracked and found and caught....  That was the last hog for the weekend for me.  I coudln't go to the weigh in neither could Taylor so our Spounsor and partner said he would go but 1030 i get a call saying he wasn't go by hisself.  We had big sow in the trailer and i'd guess no less than 900 but i would say closer to 1000 to 1050 in the trailer.  Great weekend again and our best so far on weight for these tournaments but we didn't make the weigh in.  Oh well.  TCOLT will post pictures

Another good weekend full of catching hogs. If we had kept the hobbled boar hog we would of been close to the winning weight, but since we didnt we had no chance with only 3 decent hogs and 1 good sow. Regardless, I had a good time with some good guys and good dogs.
