Think I know what your asking...but the way its worded would be a multi dimensional answer. A Black Mouth Cur (BMC)...Yes. due to their being numerous variations of BMC. Red, Brindle, Ect.... A Yellow Black Mouth Cur (YBMC) I would say depends on the area with the ring necks. If its got spots .....throw it into the Catahoula or Leopard cur end....they usually will take anything with spots willingly. ![laugh](http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/Smileys/default/laugh.gif) Alot of East Texas Yeller Cur lines throw ringnecks. Or a touch of paint...ie White markings. Buy everyone has their own definition to the extent of each that is acceptable. It also rolls over into what everyones definition of FULL BLOOD is. We have gotten into that discussion before and seems to be no resolution.

a little background. i saw a picture of a litter of pups advertised as black mouth curs. there was one black & tan, & 4 yellow brindles- one solid brindle, one with a ring neck, one with white legs, belly & under chin, & one with white spots up on sides. i asked if they were a BMC cross & they said no, they were fullbloods. not being a yella dog guy myself, i didnt think that was right, but didnt wanna argue about something i wasn't sure about.

Sounds like a full blood litter of curs. Every kind there is! ![Cheesy](http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Keep in mind the actual term for curs can be utilized in slang for unknown breed. Lots of folks dont get to technical on the strain of BMC. They just know it ain't a beagle.....

I have seen a few BMC that were mostly E Tx bloodlines with significant white markings including ring neck. These were yellow or red, not brindle, with white markings. So far as I knew they were straight BMC. Of course, what that means depends on who is breeding them. I have raised a couple of dogs with white ring neck from dogs I owned that did not show these markings in the previous two or three generations; bringing together certain lines seemed to cause this. This type of inheritance would indicate multiple genes needed for expression.
Regarding the litter you described, I would need to know a lot more before I would want a pup from it.
